Jeff, do not want to dispute you on the basis of EPA numbers, but can a 400 HP Z06 or CTS really get 28 MPG on the highway? I'm a week into an 02 Aero automatic with 250 HP and about 3500 pounds give or take, and just barely seeing 30 highway so far. I know that it will go up when the motor is fully run in, but does that 28 figure for the 400 HP V_8 really sound right? I'm a little skeptical right now, having come out of a 99 9-5 manual that could always give 35 highway in the summer, and about 33 winter, based on the different fuel additives for seasonal use here in New England.
If you are right, and they could graft an AWD drivetrain on that thing, and sell it for under 60K,I'd have to take a serious look at it, especially if they are redesigning the interior.
