I'd have to check the Saab converter, but possibly I could tap into those wires rather than the cars if it has all pins in use.
You didn't have to run any wiring between the cockpit and the trunk? What about from the controller to the battery?
You made the +30 always on circuit 10 amp for charging and the +54 switched circuit 20 amp for the controller? Then ran wire from the fuse box to the controller? Where did you tap into the brake signal? Under the dash or from the harness in the trunk? That seems a place to mess up given all the computers.
Console lid is a good idea. How did you strap the controller down? Potentially the wires could live in there. Not the easiest place to reach in an emergency while driving. Also, one might hit a button with the driver/passenger elbow.
There might be enough depth for a modified dash cubby install. I should consider that in selecting a controller. I'd have to somehow adjust for direction of travel.
What controller did you use? I'm considering the Tekonsha Prodigy P2.
