Here in NY, dropped the collision and just have basic required coverage with 500 deductible, State Farm has full glass, which ive used believe it or not,3x between both cars. Not saving a whole lot but why should I give it to the Ins. Co. They certainly weren't too cooperative when I asked what my car would be worth if it were totaled. " Oh we would look at market trends and local sale prices etc. " Well that pretty much tells me I would get squat. Tough decision I know, but it's the reality of the situation. 18 year old car that's still a pleasure to drive, imagine that.
