The speedo on my Aero also reads a few MPH faster than actual at highway speeds. The funny thing is that the car DOES know how fast you are actually going. Try getting on a flat highway, setting your cruise control, and then resetting the SID. You will see that the average speed shown by the SID is much closer to actual speed than what is shown by the speedo. I'm geuessing that the odometer uses the same speed as the SID and is therefore pretty accurate. The error in the speedo is probably intentional for liability purposes. I wonder it it's possible to use Tech2 to get the speedo to show the same speed as the SID?
