I would definitely pull the cover to take a look -- what TC86 said.
The clutch and brakes use the same reservoir, and there is a dam inside the reservoir that somewhat separates the fluid for the clutch and brake systems. The dam prevents the brakes from losing fluid if the fluid for the clutch system drains (ie split hydrolic hose). So if you are looking at the reservoir from the top, the clutch part of the reservoir is towards the front of the car...if I recall correctly. Actually, trace the feed line to the clutch MC and that will tell you which half of the reservoir is for the clutch. So it may look like the reservoir is full, but you may be only seeing the brake side of the dam. Look closely at both halves to make sure they both have fluid.
