re-pressurise the clutch line and Posted by vvack0matic [Email] (#1443) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vvack0matic) on Tue, 7 Feb 2012 10:16:18 In Reply to: Sudden clutch loss...details and questions., Darcey, Tue, 7 Feb 2012 07:40:25 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
if it holds alls-good. worst case scenario fluid starts to leak out the slave seals or the rubber part of the clutch hydraulic hose while re-pressurizing. there's no other reason the pressure would be down with no fluid loss,..unless there was some-problem with the throw-out bearing that i personally haven't had happen, that would explain no fluid loss and the sound of something dropping.
the brake fluid reservoir is a split tank front part of the tank is clutch fluid and rear is brake with the hydraulic line running out the bottom middle of it, this line may have popped off and the fluid loss would be at the rear of the engine. check the brake resivor tank. on the pic where the arrow is but on the other side of the tank (couldnt find a pic showing the clutch hose line)
