Glad someone started this thread. I spoke with one of the dealer sales staff yesterday regarding the car. Though he would not divuldge the reserve he stated it was (and I am paraphrasing just a bit) "well North of 10K and closing in the upper teens to 20K". I followed up with a question through Ebay regarding the dash and a mark on the upper rear seat between the headrests. I got a response through Ebay stating the dash is uncracked and the mark does not exist. The response can be seen at the bottom of the listing.
In my opinion, the pictures do show a paint color difference in #'s 4 and 5 as the front right fender is a different shade. Picture #47 seems to show overspray when you look througth the hole at the bottom of the picture. Tube is supposed to be black. The mark they say does not exist in picture #25 is absolutely there and there is the tell tale "light spot" in picture #23 of a crack starting on the speaker grill. Also seems to be one starting on the left front of the coin tray though that could indeed be the glare.
That being said, I have placed a few substancial bids on the car. After reading through this thread though where one source seems to confirm that the car was indeed repainted and the dash crack is evident my enthusiasm is waning. Not so much with the car itself as the fact that the response I got from the dealer seems to be inaccurate at best and deceiving at worse. Makes me wonder about the whole car.....
