just get some break cleaner (carb cleaner will work but not required) and pull the vacuum line off the intake plenum (that large aluminum think that the oil dipstick is hanging from on the left side of the engine) and put the plastic tube from the spray into the hole and spray to a count of about 6, it's not critical, replace the vacuum line and crank. if it does nothing but crank you don't have spark ( distributor, CPS or Hall Effect if Turbo, wires, plugs, coil ) if it DOES fire and rattle and then stop, you most likely have spark and then the issues are fuel pump or empty tank. consider investing $20 and put 4 gallons of fuel in it an try again. :)
