I have come across a 2 stroke Saab in a barn in northern ME. its last registration was 1964. It is apparently a 1 owner car. Its owner is sadly now the town drunk, and in need of some cash. Its sounding like a couple of hundred would do it.. The motor is currently out, but the owner told me that he rebuilt it "to spec" in 1965, and never put the car back together. it is 99% complete, and I only "saw" one small bubble of rust on the rear fender. Can anyone give me some insight on if its worth me buying and dragging out of there (its pretty buried under junk). How tough is it to work on and tune/get running, one of these. also, are there any differences that jump out right away between a 92B and a 93?.. the car is buried up to the bottom of the windows. I have not seen the hood yet..it is apparently accounted for, but wrapped in a blanket in another building.
also, what is an average value of something like this? (so I know how high to offer i guess) i'm pretty excited, my oldest saab to date is an 87' 900T CVT.
thanks for all your time and advice
