Don't get me wrong, I like BMWs quite a bit
and I would rather buy a BMW then an Audi
or Mercedes. The BMWs are good RWD cars
but then again they're RWD except for the Ix.

Have you ever looked at old BMWs, every time BMW
comes up with a new model, the previous models
look real real old.

If you look at the 3 series, the last model looks
already as old as the previous model. And after only
a couple of years the current 3 series is also starting to look
old, only the new M3 is refreshing.

If you look at many other cars, there are quite a few
which are 10 years old and that look less old. Someone
explain this to me... might just be that so many BMWs
are around.

Even the current 5 series now looks old as BMW restyled
it... I guess this is how they force BMW drivers to keep
on buying, leasing new ones.

The other day I looked at a 7 year old Porsche, and it
did not look so old, same when I did see a 968 today.

Not sure what is going on, but the some cars age well
ie SAAB9000AERO, I saw one in top condition a week
ago and it simply did not look old or old fashion, it
looked like a not so old car.

Even Mercedes has his rapid aging effect on their
newer models, funny enough I feel that some of their
older models look more Mercedes like then many of
the new ones.

In the meantime, I don't care, I drive my 9-5 Aero
and anoy 530, 330, S3s, TTs quite often. They simply
have a hard time understanding how a SAAB can be this
fast ;)

Regards,
Coolknight
