I read somewhere that a delivery van (Ford) as reach the one million miles mark. I think the truck is 40 years old. The truck is doing 5000 miles a week! His secret? The owner did his oil and filter change every week!
So you know now what to do! Replace oil and filter now and do it as many time you want, it won't harm your car if you do it too often.
I think now it is the time to all understand that the cost of changing oil and/or filter often (especially if you do it yourself) is by far the most cheaper way to keep your "nice and expensive" car in good running condition. It may cost you $5 or $10 a week (one hour or less of work) but compare that with the price and ALL THE TROUBLE to do an engine replacement in a few years from now.
