I was in the kitchen cooking the other night and had the local news droning in the background. I overheard a story about shortage of attorney's in Charlotte. I don't recall if the story was about criminal law etc...I wasn't really paying attention.

Charlotte is a great southern city and most folks here are transplants. The economy is much stronger here than in many parts of the US. The housing crisis hasn't hit this area too badly, we're among the top three in the country I believe.

We have a few Fortune 100 companies located here including two of the largest banks in the US.

With the record growth that we have had here, I know for a fact that we have a huge shortage of DA's and ADA's. Criminals walk very easily here. The current Mayor of Charlotte will be running for Gov. maybe he can make some changes!!

Might be worth checking out if he can stand 50 degree average wintertime temperatures. I'm a former Minnesotan so I appreciate the mild climate!

I tried to find the story on the station archives but couldn't find it. I think it was on WBTV Charlotte.
