I've never had a ramp from either pair of Rhinos slide on me. The 2x2 soft rubber block on the bottom side holds the ramp in place when the car is just starting up the incline to prevent slipping.

I also never use the running start method of mounting. I slide the ramps against the front tires (sometimes the best I can do is wedge the ramps under the low front spoilers) then gradually add throttle until the car starts to creep up the ramp. The only trick is knowing when to release the throttle so the car crests the ramp smoothly and stops with no need to jam on the brakes to keep the car from going off the other side (my Dad did this once with steel ramps - I still don't know how he managed that).

Both our Saabs are much better with this slow roll-on of throttle to gain torque to climb the ramp than the son's GrandAm.
