Years ago, I failed my first attempt at a PA drivers licence for putting the car (900 5spd) in neutral while slowing to a stip sign on the course. The driving instructor said that haveing a running car in neutral is a saftey hazard, and failed me. I did everything else correctly. I retook the test the next day and passed. I guess I am part of a minority of folks who passed their license with a 5spd.
That driving instructor was an idiot. I still remember him to this day. Hopefully he has since died a gruesome death. He was truely a loser. Then again how many driving instructors are anything other then losers.
