My previous post may have been rather caustic, the fact still remains that the Environmental Sustainability Index mentioned by John A. is an anti-growth index. Read the organization's own publications, and one will realize that ESI is different from EPI (Environmental Performance Index). ESI is a projection into the future, not an evaluation of performance. There is little wonder that the top ranking ESI countries are the nordics and alpine countries that have negative population growth rate, and countries that are suffering from civil wars and consequent economic stagnation and poplation decreases.
Stop making SAAB altogether would be a quick way to enhance ESI ranking. I thought this board was pro-SAAB.
