Spring is here for the most part and its time for many people to start crawling under their cars for whatever problems have cropped up over the winter. I had a good safety reminder yesterday when I went to change my oil.
I had just finished jacking the car up and was going to get my jackstands. While I did so the car fell off the jack. The wheel blocks I had used did not stop this from happening.
Its times like this I like to remember that safety comes first. If I hadn't bothered with the jack stands I probably would not be writing this today. ALWAYS use jack stands and wheel blocks when working under your car and give it a few good shoves before you go under- its much easier to jack the car up again if it should happen to fall if its not on your head.
Take care everyone...
