Simon, that was my original thought, until someone told me otherwise.
I wonder if crank counterweight has a little but some influence to counter moment of inertia with moving rod/ piston, and change in mass with the piston could call for slight adjustment in counterweight, to be perfect. My question is that for 'street' use, would the piston weight difference be significant enough to modify crank counterweight or not.
I am more inclined to leave the crank alone, while focusing on matching static weight of rod/ piston between cylinders, as well as rotating balance of crank. My rebuild will still stay around stage 1 level at 275hp or so for a daily driver, with constraint from Aisin 5-spd AT's torque capacity.
Any other thoughts on what should be done to the crank, if any?
