Cylinder milling? You mean piston interference /slap when cold?
I am still determining what to specify to the machine shop in terms of piston to cylinder clearance with Wossner pistons, if not the factory spec., that should have some influence to the issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Also piston skirt coating with Wossner should help that, I think?
Given a few feedbacks indicating forged pistons may be overkill for stage 1, I would like to point out that OEM +1mm oversized piston costs more than $250 PER PISTON, if you can find one... This basically rules out OEM piston and makes it much more cost effective, if not performance/ longevity improvement too, to go with Wossner or otherwise forged for any tune, in my book.
I hope to get back on road soon for another 100K miles to go, if not more... interesting that you mentioned new MAF for every 60K. I think my bad MAF did the damage to begin with so will keep that in mind.
