Personally, this is ridiculous. I read and read , yet have not commented. I shall now.. 25,000 for a Saab Sonett is absurd. There is frankly not anything the comes close to justify this price. The car is plastic, not even thick steel. It is well known that people rarely earn bac the amount of their misplaced currency.
Although, I have two Sonetts..( 71 and 72) I see not anything about them that is so unique and special to sell for even 15,000 dollars. It even has another manufacturer's engine! thus not a true Saab! even italian designed!!
Now, a lovely 1958 93B 2stroke(pop.pop) is different. I can see a beauty like a 93B going for 15,000 dollars or more) That car has thick steel...definitely unique..(nothing comes close) It not a copy or an imitation such as a Sonett.
That is what is so special about real Saabs...( 92, 93, 96, 99, c900s)
One can easily see that the manufacturers had their own ideas of how to make a car, hence the 92, 96, 99, c900 series. That is the respect and love affair that has hooked me to this mark since 1988. 900 first, then 99, 96, 93, then Sonett...
For the past few weeks, I have been reading, and playing with my 1971 Sonett..even earlier today. But I feel what led me to buy this car is the name.
