You have 2 "Saab" options.
1) Handsfree preparation for mobile phone
Connects your mobile telephone to the Infotainment System. High audio quality for incoming calls through the loudspeakers. Volume is regulated via the steering wheel controls and there is also an audio mute function.
2)Integrated telephone
"For Saab Infotainment and Saab Infotainment Plus. Including handsfree with audio mute, Bluetooth™ and GPRS modem for fast data transfer to your laptop or PDA. The most frequent functions can be controlled with voice-commands or the buttons on the steering wheel. Incoming calls are heard through the infotainment system speakers or a wireless Bluetooth™ headset. When the telephone is combined with Infotainment Plus you can also browse internet WAP pages on the large colour screen. And you can receive a call at the same time. *) WAP, GPRS and other functions may be dependent on the telephone service provider and require a special agreement. "
I have the integrated phone option in my 2 week old 9-3 Aero 2005.
I was considering the other option with my SE P910i but I am happy that I went with the integrated option. It is great...
First Saab by the way, I love it.
