If you're used to NG900/OG9-3 steering he 9-3SS steering will always feel to light. Saab was able to lighten up the steering because the design has improved so that they don't have to mask or counter torque steer.

The R&T road test of the 20th Anniverseray Aero Vert says, and I quote, "accomplished with only a trace of torque steer"....excellent steering feel. I would suggest your just not used to it.

You may be a "sport suspension" kinda' guy. The standard 9-3SS can be criticized for a little excessive body roll. Turn in is crisp, handling is very neutral and not just for a FWD car, limits are very high, but there's no substitute for for wide tires, sport suspension and grippy seats for some. I it was me I'd put 17" wheels on the 9-3 2.0T.

Or better still take advantage of the killer deals on Aeros. You can get a 2.0T without a premium package and same a little vs an Aero, but after you add the premium package to a 2.0T for $1,895 you might just as well go with an Aero where the premium package and sunroof are standard.
