There are many ways to slice it and it really depends on what you value. The decision was easy for me because I wanted no options other than cold package and for that comparison the difference is about 5 to 6k and, for me, the only real benefit to the Aero is the seats (which really are great). Those seats should really be optional for the 2.0T. I didn't see any need to pay MORE for things I didn't need or want like....
--the larger, less proven, less fuel efficient engine
--more power than the 210HP 220 torqued 2.0T (hey I'm not racing)
--a sunroof that will probably eventually rattle, leak or fail...in fact, the fewer bells and whistles...the better (just my $.02).
--any of the useless options offered in the premium package (other than stereo upgrade..which is nice but not worth the $$ to me)
--harsher riding 17" wheels/tires (no thanks)
--lower suspension that looks cool but causes front end grounding
--Aero academy (???)
Of course, I know there are plenty of people out there that want these things so it ultimately depends on what you value and how much $$ you are willing to pay for that.
