Having just purchased my Aero SC, I can say that my decision came partly from incentives, but also from the differences between the two. The dealer I purchased from did not have a 2.0 SC for direct comparison, but I did look at a 2.0 SS. I can say now that I thought the 17" wheel looked infinitely better within the wheel well. The exhaust note of the Aero can be a bit boomy, but it's not obtrusive. The seats are outstanding. I can't speak of gas mileage yet, having only accumulated 700 miles so far.
I really hope I can take advantage of the Aero Academy - always wanted to take a professional driving course.
All said 'n' done the Aero ended up being about $1000 more than the 2.0's I was quoted, so for me it was a no-brainer! I really like my Saab, and evidently so do several other drivers, everywhere I park! I can park in the middle of the desert, and I swear there will be 3 cars close by when I return...
