Hello all,

I bought my 06 9-3 aero in October of last year with 26 miles on the odometer. After three or four weeks of driving my service indicator light came on. I called the dealer and they told me to just reset the warning. Now I have accumliated over 4,600 miles on my aero. This is my fist car with synthetic oil and I am very woried about damaging the engine. I tried to get a synthetic change at a local oil change shop and three times I was told they could not procure my oil filter. Only from the dealer I was told. My SID says oil quality at 52% but I reset it without a change. Can anyone tell me if I need an oil change and if I do where can I find the filter. I don't want to have it changed at the dealer prematurely and give up the scheduled check for other problems. Help would be greatly appreciated. I love the car and want to ride it to the end!
