After searching for front rotors and pads a few years ago for my 2010 9-3 (non-aero) I did find some info on another site that allowed me to decode the brake sizes from the string of characters below the VIN on the label by the drivers door jam. There should be a line of text like this which I've copied exactly from my car:

42-11-4 - 2-41-60-AB-BA-CB-DA-

The last four groups of 2 characters tell you:

AB = Front Rotor is 302mm
BA = Rear Rotor is 278mm
CB = Front Caliper is 16"
DA = Rear Caliper is 15"

I would bet if yours is a 2010 9-3 sedan sold in the US and a non-aero, it should match. The other possibilities as I found on another site are:

The first couple describes the front brake disc.

AA: 15" 285mm
AB: 16" 302mm
AC: 16"+ 314mm (mounted on 2.8 V6)
AD: 17" 345mm (starting from 2008 only on Turbo X)

The second couple describes the rear discs

BA: 15" 278mm (from 2003 to 2007 on 1.8i, 2.0t, 1,9JTD. From 2008 on only mounted on 1.8i)
BB: 16" 292mm
BC: 16" 292mm only on XWD

The third couple describes front brake caliper

CA: 15"
CB: 16"
CC: 16"+
CD: 17"

The fourth couple describes rear brake caliper

DA: 15"
DB: 16"

I can't swear this is all correct but I did order rotors based on this info and they fit my car.

Dave
