Another update in case anyone is following this saga...

Looks like the module I have is for an NG 9-5!

I peeled off the stickers and the seller sold me a part that was meant for NG 9-5S but labeled it as 9-3, hence the incompatible software.

There are very few 9-3 Haldex modules in existence and they are expensive... like $600-$700, can't find them used and I don't know of any software flashing methods.

I may wait to get one...it's way more than I wanna spend on this thing as I got it for so little but not having the module on here while already owning the differential with eLSD would be wasteful...especially after doing all this work.

I still have work to do, I have a donor car to swap the windshield on as it is cracked, I decided to get the body guy I know to cut the fender frame from the car and redo the work as it isn't perfect since he pulled, instead of using the fender bits from another car but way better than where it was. I really hope it turns out ok as he's a family friend, not the best but does it for very cheap.

I'm sure if this was a more common part, this would have been a slightly more common swap but looks like I'm the only one getting anywhere near an attempt?

Anyone out there with a used module from a car with eLSD?....maybe lol? - 12811304
