AMP1 -371 from CV for -370 SC?

I see posts mentioning that the AMP1 from a 2004-06 CV can be used for the SC, and since in the CV it is higher in the back parcel shelf it is more likely in reasonable condition (less water damage risk).

Now the question I have is to confirm if I have the part numbers right from the EPC. I have confirmed that in my car now under the seat is part 12757370. I can't confirm that this is original or if it was swapped out already.

In the EPC, for the CV models I see part 12757371. From ebay photos this looks like a bit different dimension (the -371 CV version is more "square", while the -370 SC version is more elongated). So do I have the parts right, and is this -371 model, even with different dimensions, usable to replace a faulty -370 model for the SC?

Thanks for helping me navigate this. Bad sound is just ... bad!
