2006 SC: AMP1 and door speakers

My door speakers pretty much don't give sound at all, except for distorted thumps when at higher bass. Sound in general is quite tinny and poor, esp. considering what it should be I suspect.

But since my turn indicators and seatbelt chimes work as intended, I am confused if the issue would be with AMP1 or not. I thought if AMP1 was "dead" then I may lose the front dash speakers and turn indicators also?

So if it is *only* the door speakers not working, would this be an AMP or speaker issue? Maybe an optical connection issue between the amp and head unit? A bit confused on this one. I do have some spare door speakers from a junkyard pull, I could try those but I suspect with both of them not working for me now it isn't the speakers themselves?

Thoughts on if AMP1 may be "partially out", or if that makes sense?
