Thanks for the followup and description it seems similar to what I have now. I didn't get the AMP1 out yet, but I am surprised these fail so easily with no fuse going first! Not able to be jumped is a new one for me, I will have to be careful if I get the speakers working again to keep this I'm mind.

I see reference to the optic loop bypass but since this just disables the door speakers I will hold that for a last resort.

Regarding the speaker count I am confused. I think I just have the 3 dash speakers, 2 front door speakers, two on the rear hatch and then the subwoofer below the hatch floor. That makes 8 but I should have 9 or 13. Huh? :-)
