Alternator voltage too high?

I have a 2007 93 auto 2L
Recently and sometime on my radio head unit I am hearing a kind of distorded sound in the background.
I noticed that it happens more frequently on cold morning (higher current load?).
I mesured the voltage accross the battery teminal.
Battery is around 13V. When I start the car I get a reading between 14.86 and 15.0 Volts.
Is this too high? I am pretty sure it is border line.
