Not to argue a point, but I've only dealt with 2 Saab dealers in the past 20 years and have had nothing but pretty good experiences. That's not to say that everything that was repaired was 100%, but eventually, everything was put right.
Recently, I had an issue with Saab concerning a scheduled maintainence fee that was included with the car. I was under the impression when I bought the car that it was a mileage issue, only to find out that it's a time issue. I have been dealing with the same people for many years, so I did not think they were trying to screw me, I chalked it up to a miscommunication. The salesman called Saab and Saab USA ended up sending me a $200 voucher. I called Saab USA and told them that I felt somewhat insulted that they'd placate a customer of over 20 years with 200 bucks. About a week later, to my surprize, they sent another $200 voucher. I would hope, and especially in these matters of putting a customer's car right, Saab's foresight into taking car of a customer's reasonable expectations is what will keep them as a long-time customer. There are a number of manufacturers out there who make some really nice cars, competitively priced and with similar performance characteristics to our Saabs.
