I will DEFINANTLY but another saab! I have a 2000 viggen with about 60K
things I like
-power
-styling
-handling for a 4/5dr sedan
-interior
-versatility
-safety
-fuel economy -34 highway usually 25 ish avg
things I do not like
-stereo, premium sounds like crap
-weak/flexy chassis
-power limit in 1-2 gears
-no LSD!
nock on wood, zero rattles1
I rescently completed a drivers school & I talked to a few instructors who i have know for a while. They wondered if I will considered another car when i purchased my viggen like a m3. I told them a M3 might be a sec or so quicker around the track but i need the versatility of the car & I love the way it looks, they were alos vERY impressed with the looks of the car as well as how it performed at the track. There were 2 STi's in my group as well as a 911 (993 chassis) which I was able to not only match/beat their laptimes but i held with them all the way up to my 117 mph top speed, I was very impressed with that.
they also joked about how pissed the 911 driver must of been seeing a sedan pulling him around the track!
with the steering, get the kit1 It greatly improves the car & it's under $200!!!! no clue why saab didn't build these cars that way also get the rear sway bar
i do want to modify my car however my SPG is a LOT more fun to drive especially at the track so the extra $$ goes there for mods.
