Do you have a 5speed? I have driven many cars over the years - most with stick, and really had to re-learn the 5spd on my 1999 93 SE HOT---it is fast off the line you just need to shift correctly!!!! I compare the acceleration to many large displacment V8's I have driven--most recently the 5.7 Litre (350 ci) displacement engine in a Buick Roadmaster, that drives like a tank and is much heavier than my Saab, but my 93 is every bit as fast off the line...smae goes for my 1965 Mustang convertible with the 289 ci & Hurst 4speed shifter!!!
Handling could be better in my Saab, but this is not a sports car!!!
I bought mine because it is fast, semi-luxurious, safe, fun to drive and has some utility!!!
