I'm in Fribourg/Montreux/Geneva often,
The important thing is that every single vehicle will yield to you when approaching from the rear. You flash the beams or hit your left blinker and they yield. They don't slow down, you don't slow down. They don't have to hit the accel, you don't have to disengage the cruise or take your foot off the accel...it really is a wonderful thing. If you're in a good mood you can complete this meeting (or passing) with a friendly wave as you go by. I can't stand having to slow down from 90 to 60 to manuver around a soccer mom in an Esuvee too consumed with the process of applying makeup to see anything going on around her...
I've had a chance to drive a 1998 SE (?) through Germany (on high speed snow rated tires) and it was surprisingly stable crusing at speeds of 220 KPH (roughly 140 miles per hour) the brakes had to be applied very gently because the base SE suspension would shift (a lot) weight forward. I would love to do it again in an Aero with summer tires. *drool*
Net net, I can rest assured knowing you Saabers - in general - are a speedy bunch. Good to know!
