If A=B and B=C then A=C (ceramic brake pads)

So I ordered a pair of rear ceramic pads from thesaabstore.com, they arrived today and the box was branded PBR Ultimate ceramic.
I googled them and read through numerous posts and reviews; I did not find a matching pair of reviews. Some claim they are dustfree, others say they are as dusty as metallics. Everyone agrees they have bite and that they need to warm up; however the similarities end there.
First, let me state that there is a difference between Akebono ceramic pads and all other ceramics.
Now, If metallic pads are easy on the rotors, and true ceramic pads are even better than mettalics then why are people saying that mettalic/ceramic comibnations such as the PBR Ultimates eat rotors for lunch? Akebono claims 400% improved rotor life and people are raving, metallics are so so, ceramic/metallic should be somewhere in the middle no?
A=B
B=C
A=C?
no?
I don't know if to put them on or not - but I finally said screw it!
The rears won't disintergate as fast as front brakes. I intend on putting Akebono on the front, 100% true ceramics.
