I usually put something in the subject line, but I figured if I couldn't be polite.....anyway, not that polite, the word I want to use is bottom feeder. Some of us just have a natural ability to find the steal and we have the back up to afford the risks.
To find an identical car to a dealers CPO for $5k less isn't such a no brainer. To chip away at the difference I'd point out the cost of the CPO warranty extension $1,200 (a steal by warranty pricing standards, a $2,000+ value) and the average $1,500 spent on upgrading the wear items and maintenance. Sometimes you find a non-CPO car with all the wear stuff up to date, but there goes that bottom feeding thing. Some of us are just car savvy and having any factory warranty at all is plenty.
Lucky for me there are enough folks who don't have a lotta' car sense, or maybe they do, and decide to visit their local convienent Saab dealer with business hours and financing and trade ins availible on site.
