I have an '01 LPT. I don't know what Saab offers now, but when I got the winter package it was with 15" steel rims (the standard aloy rims are 16"). I have Michelin Arctic Alpins, which work fine but are pretty old so this is probably their last winter. Next I will look at Nokians, based on my wife's experience and many positive reviews.
