It will go just as long as any other car if properly maintained. It will cost you more to maintain than your Accord. I did so much work on my 2000 wagon, that I spent over $3000 in parts over an 18 month period. It would have cost me somewhere between $14K-19K to hav had the shop do the work. A long-term warranty would have cut down on that. My previous 2001 9-5 (V6) was a great ride until it hit 49,800 miles. Then it started falling apart, but the warranty was covering that. My 1997 900 SE Turbo was the best of the lot. I only sold it after deciding I needed a roomier car.
This is from a person that loved his Saabs. I babied them and praised their attritbutes. My wife and friends are shocked that I got rid of my wagon. My license plate was "MY SAAB" backwards. Although, I did have a back-up car that I drove while I worked on my wagon.
I decided I didn't want to spend so much time in the garage, so I am now driving a Mazda. I have more time for the family now.
