Elmodo - please read this post.
The one thing that Saab has always meant to me is safe. The KIA is probably not a death-trap (though I don't actually know,)... I would never put my 16 year old son in one. I don't even think I'd let him ride in one that his friend's dad decided was good enough for his kid.
It's not built around safety. It's built around nothing other than price.
It's not proven in the real world.
Government five star...crap...show me 10,000 horribly wrecked cars with 9,950 stories how "the car saved my life"... That's what I buy.
And if I put on 3500 miles a month, I'd be spending my money on a car that - if all hell broke loose on the highway...was going to give itself up so I could go back home to my kids again.
No money is better spent than money spent to protect what you hold closest to your heart. If if you are not a dad...you are probably still a son or a brother or nephew or a grandson or whatever.
Oh well...just my rant. Get rid of that KIA and spend money on what counts. Money is cheap...you can always make more. Lose something important once and you'll never drive a cheap car again. I promise. Hope you never have to learn that lesson the hard way.
