In a car with 80k+ mileage--the transmission shop should have informed you of the possibility of making any problem you have worse. If he did inform you -- you're out of luck. If he didn't inform you--good luck trying to get him to reimburse the deductible--you might have to go to small claims court. My transmission started going after 60,000---just replaced it for $5300. Saab is a poorly built car---my advice---don't buy another one. Speak to anyone with a 2001-2003 -- non-stop issues (and costly). Don't look to GM for any help either--they're going down the tubes for a reason---and it ain't union pensions!
