This is really 101 stuff for me. Plus my summer tires showed no wear so although the rotation/pressure comments are very valid the shocks and rebalance (done annual on all tires and they are seldom every off) are not likely.

Now I have to admit since I drive 20K a year getting 5K rotations are not always easy and I've always got away with rotating twice a year.

Are snow tires (by design) less forgiving due to the agressive patterns?

I've read on some sites that several brands of snow tires are very prone to cupping and were corrected by the producers.

I was hoping someone has seen a shaving process to salvage these tires.
