The seal on the cambucket cannot be seen in the photo - I am speculating.
The reason - in the photo - the exhaust cam ( lower one) - third cylinder ( from the left) - one of the lobes seems to be scored - not sure if it optical- if there is actual scoring on the cam - it may be due to the hydraulic valves not adjusting correctly - so giving excessive cam to bucket clearance ( the bucket is the like a egg cup upside down directly under the cam lobes - this in turn pushes the top of the valves ( only the top of the bucket is visable in the photos).
If it is the bucket - it is an easy fix ( with cam removed) - no need to remove the head - however your exhaust cam might need to be replaced itf it is scored.
