V6 9-5 are very rugged & reliable - with one very serious caviot.
At 60K miles the cam belt & TENSIONER ( block for emphasis) need to be replaced.
The dealer usually replaced the belt under warranty ( including labor).
Unfortunately this does not include the tensioner unless you pay for it & additional labor. If the tensioner is not replaced the car will NOT last to 200,000K. What will happen the tensioner will slip - causing to cams to go out of timing & the valves will hit the pistons. This will kill the engine or at the very least the cylinder heads.
At your quoted 67K miles - check if the tensioner has been replaced.
If it has you are good to go apart from boring routine maintenance.
If it has not you are in for a big ticket expense - the parts are not too bad maybe $200 but the labor is huge - lots of stuff need to be removed to get to the cam. At least 4-5 hours of skilled labor (be carefull of an general indy ( IE one that does not specilize in Saabs) - one timing error during install will also kill your engine.
Hope the tensioner has already been replaced.
While you are at it - change the fuel filter ( very cleap) & drain & fill the tranny a coupl of times to change all the fluid.( not that power flush thing)
Enjoy your Saab !
