Well......I have 360,000Km on my 2000 model Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sun, 8 Jun 2008 15:51:39 In Reply to: What can we expect to repair on a 9-5 after 100,000Km?, Kev, Sun, 8 Jun 2008 01:18:54 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Assuming my math is correct; 226,000 miles is approximately 360,000 Km.
Things you may face:
Fuel pump - mine failed at 190,000 miles, ~$1,300 done by Dealer, with oil pressure sensor and tow.
ABS module - mine may have failed today, ~$140 for rebuild and D-I-Y
Throttle Body - not yet for me, but I hear these are ~$500 as D-I-Y
Rear Shocks typically last only 100,000 miles (160,000Km), ~$400 at Indy
You should be due for brakes all around by now, ~$400 with rotors for D-I-Y
Crankshaft Position Sensor - plan on replacing this, ~$65 as D-I-Y
Heater By-Pass Valve - plan on replacing this, ~$90 as D-I-Y
Turbo by-Pass Valve - the Plain-Jane Bosch unit will last for 100,000 miles and only costs ~$65 to replace
