Much of that confirms what I've heard from reliable sources. New to me are the specifics of wheelbase (seems kind of long), wheel diameter, and equipment.
That the "L850" engine (aka "global 4") will go into the car is no surprise. What will be a surprise is if it appears in America. I think that decision will be made after the model is launched and only if fuel prices are reported in dollars per quart. The L850 output in direct injection form neatly matches the level of the current 2.3, and with ethanol it approches 300 hp, so there's plenty of power available. It's just a question of whether even the rumor of a 4 cylinder engine remains the kiss of death in this market. Meanwhile, Europe will have 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder diesels as well.
