Get them checked or do it yourself - lots of articles on aiming headlights, and they're easy to adjust. On my 01 they were aimed low on my 04 they were high - and I was getting flashed. You can also get an idea of the beam pattern when you drive on a dark side street - you should be able to see the beam cutoff pretty clearly and it should intersect the pavement at some point out in front of the car. If it goes straight out level you will be blinding oncoming drivers - something none of us appreciate.
