I know I posted a little while ago that they came out well, but I've got some bugs I don't like and think I may just switch back to some high-quality halogen bulbs. Here's what's up:

1. I think the glare these bulbs produce is highly offensive to oncoming drivers. So far two people have flashed their high beams at me, out of a lot of people though. Look at the picture below. HID setups are supposed to use projector lenses, like the modded Honda at right. You can see the clean cut-off so scattered light doesn't blind oncoming traffic. Mine are on the left. All that light up above the bright spots shouldn't be there.

2. I have the DRL fuse pulled so I theoretically can turn off my lights via the switch. I start the car with them off so as not to fry the ballasts with the voltage surge. All is fine. Then I flip them on via the switch. All is still fine. But when I turn them off via the switch they start flickering, and all the electrical stuff in my car ticks with the flickering. They just keep doing this until I flip the switch back to on. If I shut the car off via the ignition though, they shut off no problem.

3. The little buggers seem to be interfering with my FM radio reception. i.e. 90% fuzzy static until I shut the car off and restart it without them on.

I think I have them wired correctly. The only place a made an educated guess was where the Xenon kit plugs into the car's harness that the regular halogen bulb snaps into. There was a yellow wire on one side which I assumed was (+) and a black wire which should be (-) with a green wire which should be the ground, right? I plugged the red cable from the HID kit into the yellow side and the black wire of the kit into the black & green side. Anyone see anything wrong with that? After that the kit is idiot-proof because everything has shaped connectors that only fit into each other one way. Thanks in advance for any insight.
