I think I read your post on my phone in class or something and forgot to respond.

1. I was planning on using a relay triggered by the low beam yellow wires to turn the ballast on. That might help the system think the relay is the approximate load of a light bulb. I felt the DICE would deal better with a relay.
---> Hmm, I'm not sure. The kit I have is a "plug and play" kit. So it just plugs into the headlight plug. I don't think the system had a problem with the load of the ballast. I didn't get any "Front Light Failure" messages until I switched the polarities of the wires.

2. did you say you used double sided tape to install the ballasts? This would probably not ground the ballast cases and be a cause of potential FM interference.
---> I think the ballasts are grounded through the wiring, according to the diagram that came with my kit, so I don't think it matters. What was weird was that they didn't seem to interfere for the first couple days. Then all of a sudden they started to interfere and it was quite obvious the interference went away when I restarted the car without them on.

3. do you have e-code lenses on the headlights? Probably not in the year you have. I have e-codes, and I wonder if that will help the aiming?
--->You can't get replacement E-code lenses for the 2002+ models. I think you really need projector lenses to get the correct cutoff for HID bulbs.
