I have figured out that the wiring diagram only shows the wires leading to the whole headlight assembly. After that there's nothing about which wires go where within the assembly.
The problem with following wires on the diagram is they all end up in the DICE and who knows what goes on in there... haha.
I will try switching the wires and hopefully nothing will blow up.
