That seems like a huge switch from SAAB petrol to a diesel. I had an Audi a few years back and I called it an "Owee". Every time it went to the shop, it was a Owee on my wallet - much worse than my SAAB 9-5. My neighbor bought an Audi A-4 2.0T new and takes amazing care of the car. Now at 20K miles, it's burning over 2 quarts of oil between the 3000 miles changes - uses synthetic. Audi is arguing with him saying "it's acceptable to use a quart in 1500 miles". I think that's a lame excuse to not replace the engine. The VW might be a great car but..... Audi's have treated me poorly and they are basically a VW. Use caution!
